We're hosting our very first Spring Gin & Cask Festival at The Black Bull from Monday 4th March to Sunday 28th April 2019. If gin and cask ale is your thing then you’ll be wowed by our gin-credible new collection of gins and seasonal cask ales — there’s something for everyone.
From timeless classics to contemporary twists, there’s plenty of exciting new gins for you to try. Join us and find out why the refreshingly sweet JJ Whitley Violet, fruity Adnams Copper House Pink gin, or the crisp Roku Japanese gin might just be your new favourite tipple.
You’ll be amazed at what gins and casks we’ve got on offer. Take a look at our fabulous lineup below.
The sweet & fruity Adnams Pink is made using award-winning Copper House dry gin, distilled with six botanicals and infused with a dash of raspberry creating fruity and vibrant aromas.
Using a blend of six perfectly balanced and unique Japanese botanicals, we garnish our Roku Japanese gin with a spicy sansho pepper twist — it’s no surprise that it’s a real showstopper!
The sweet & fruity JJ Whitley Violet gin is a must try. Created with a blend of eight botanicals, it delivers a smooth sip with a delicate taste of violet, rounded off with a subtle sweetness.
At The Black Bull, we’re incredibly proud to serve real quality ale throughout our pubs and that’s why we’ve brought together the ‘best in class’, all in one place for your drinking pleasure!
2019 is the 25th anniversary of Sharp’s Brewery and the perfect time to celebrate our favourite brews from over the years. With flavours of caramel malts and juicy fruit throughout, Rising Tide is a 3.2% abv table beer that combines a traditional style with a modern edge.
This fabulous collaboration brew between Brew York and The Beer Company is unfiltered, unrefined and vegan. What’s more…. £5 of each cask goes to Project Biodiversity — drink beer, save sea turtles!
With it’s assertive and pithy bitterness and malty backbone, Ghost Ship is inspired by one of Adnams’ most haunted pubs in one of the UK’s most haunted villages, The Bell at Walberswick.
Get ready for a spring filled with an exciting collection of cask ales and craft beers at The Black Bull. From pale, blonde and amber ales, to darker brews, and session IPA, we’ve handpicked the best selection of cool pints for your enjoyment.
