How did you get into the brewing industry?
Was working in a different industry but still an avid homebrewer. Saw an ad for a job and decided to take a leap of faith into brewing. The rest is history……
If you had to pick a favourite beer/brewery (not your own), which one would it be and why?
Favourite beers come and go, I have nothing that is a definite nailed on fave. There’s always something crazier coming out! Breweries though I’d go for anything by To-Ol, Mikkeller, Amundsen or Stone.
If you could sit down with anyone living or dead and have a beer, who would it be and why?
Probably Leonardo da Vinci, someone who deserves the accolade ‘genius’. He was a true genius, such a painter, architect, sculptor and phenomenal scientist. In fact, he’d be a pretty good brewer if he gave it a go I bet!
If you were stranded on a desert island, which 3 items would you bring with you?
I’d bring the missis so we could use it as a holiday somewhere sunny, some Fish & Chips as that’s the greatest meal known to mankind and a speedboat so we could leave the island as any time acting like a winner on Bullseye.
Which dish on our menu would be the best match to your seasonal beer?
With the fruity qualities of the beer a pork dish would go well so either the slow cooked pork ribs, or the gammon and chips.
