Before 5pm Monday to Saturday you can take advantage of two selected meals for just £8 at The Sovereigns, which is enough to brighten up anyone's day!
There are classic favourites to choose from in our 2 meals for £8 range;
- Fish & Chips - proper hand-battered fillet in a crisp, real ale batter
- Naked Chicken Burger - with mayo, Cos lettuce and sliced tomato in a seeded bap, with chips and smoky tomato relish
- Gammon Steak - topped with either two fried eggs or chargrilled pineapple
- Minced Beef & Baby Onion Pie - served with chips, peas and gravy
- Macaroni Cheese (v) - topped with mature Cheddar and chive crumb with dressed mixed leaves and garlic ciabatta
Or for just £1 extra per dish, why not tuck into:
- BBQ Smothered Chicken - with crispy bacon, mature Cheddar cheese and BBQ sauce
- Steak & Timothy Taylor Ale Pie - slow cooked beef in a Timothy Taylor ale gravy and light butter pastry with chips, peas and gravy
- Mature Cheese & Bacon Burger - with mayo, Cos lettuce and sliced tomato in a seeded bap, with chips and smoky tomato relish
- Goats Cheese & Root Vegetable Tartin - honey glazed parsnips, carrot, beetroot and red onion topped with goats cheese, served with dressed mixed leaves

Tuesday is Grill Night and Thursday is Curry Night at The Sovereigns, which means after 5pm you can still enjoy a tasty meal and a drink for an all-in £5.99. The former offers delicious sauces and combo selections for just £1-2 more, while the latter has eight tasty curries on offer (including Thai and Goan varieties) plus super starter offers.
