Pie perfection for just £5.99 this autumn

Not much beats a pie and a pint at this time of year – especially if the pie is just £5.99, the pint is a hand-picked cask ale and you’re enjoying them both here at The Four Topped Oak in Widnes.

Settle down with a classic combo

This autumn, take your pick from five tasty fillings and partner it with the perfect pint:

  • Steak and ale pie: slow-cooked farm-assured steak in Doom Bar Ale gravy. Pair it with Sharp’s Rising Tide Ale

  • Pulled beef and red wine pie: pulled beef simmered in a rich red wine sauce. Pair it with Titanic Plum Porter Ale

  • Lamb and vegetable pie: succulent lamb with chunky veg. Pair it with Elgood’s Black Dog Ale

  • Chicken and leek pie: tender chicken in creamy leek and mustard sauce. Pair it with Acorn Barnsley Gold Ale

  • Shepherd’s pie: lamb mince and vegetables topped with creamy mash. Pair it with our own Ember Inns Pale Ale.

Whatever you choose, each pie is just £5.99 and comes with seasonal green vegetables, mashed potato and gravy for a proper hearty meal.

More in the mood for a bar snack? Try five mini pie bites for £3.99 – choose from peppered steak or chicken and bacon.
